Even if you’ve never been to a farmers market, we’re sure you’ll agree that it’s wonderful when several things we value come together to make a great opportunity. And that couldn’t describe a farmers market better — a place you can go to get quality food you know is fresh because it has been grown locally, which means you’ll be eating better, and at the same time, you’ll be supporting the small farmers and ranchers in your community.
If that sounds like an opportunity you’d like to take advantage of, there are some amazing farmers markets right here in the Oklahoma City area. When you want to have confidence in what you’re cooking, here’s a list of some of the best farmers markets you can find nearby.
OKC Farmers Public Market

The OKC Farmers Public Market has been so successful, it’s branched out into a venue for weddings, receptions, concerts, and other events, and hosts its own antiques mall. But at its heart — going all the way back to 1928 — it has been a farmers and ranchers market that proudly sells locally grown fruits, vegetables, dairy, and meats. The OKC Farmers Public Market also offers visitors a chance to buy homemade baked goods, honey, and locally grown flowers.
