If you and your family love the thrill of the racetrack, Oklahoma City is a good place to be. In fact, there are plenty of places in Oklahoma City and nearby towns that allow you to enjoy riding go-karts. Whether you want to race the track with friends or take the kids to try racing for the first time this summer, Oklahoma City has a lot to offer. These are some of the best places to check out for go-kart racing.
Oklahoma Motorsports Complex

Oklahoma Motorsports Complex is a Commission-Internationale-de-Karting-approved facility with an emphasis on family karting. The asphalt track is about 30 inches wide and 0.7 miles in length, and it features 12 turns. This facility hosts club rates and pocket bike racing on specific days. At the venue, you can also rent concession go-karts or high-performance karts. The concession carts race at speeds up to 50 miles per hour. Those high speeds mean that your experience at the complex is going to be unlike your racing experience anywhere else.
This track is great for families, but it’s important to know that all racers must receive about 15 minutes of instructional time before getting behind the wheel. The complex provides safety equipment, and instructors will be on hand to answer any questions you have about your experience. The track is available for various activities during different hours, and the complex also hosts events for groups and corporate team building.
This track recommends that you call before you plan to haul your karts over. While some days and times are reserved for specific types of racing, you can book it for private parties. In addition to the main track, the complex also offers several other areas, including training, pit bike, small, and supermoto tracks. Do you just prefer to spectate? If so, the Oklahoma Motorsports Complex hosts lots of exciting races, including the Hot Summer Nights series.
